Kari Miller

While home on leave from the US Army, Kari was hit by a drunk driver and lost both of her legs.

She became involved in sitting volleyball when a friend suggested she try it in order to keep in shape during the off-season of wheelchair basketball.

"I loved the extra challenge. The mental speed required to make decisions and strategize.”

Kari is currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma where she studies biology and veterinary science.  She is also a USOC Paralympic Mentor for service members.
