Birthdate:  August 19, 1987

Competition:  T-44 Track, F-44 field, and P-44 Pentathlon

Jeremy Campbell earned a spot on the 2008 and 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team. Before graduating from Perryton High School in Perryton, Texas, Jeremy was all-district in basketball, track and football. He was introduced to amputee athletics at the Endeavor Games in 2004.

As a result of his dedication, Campbell entered Beijing as the favorite in his best event, the pentathlon. Not surprisingly, Campbell blew away his competition by setting a world record and beating the rest of the field by almost 400 points. Campbell also won gold in the men's discus F44.

In June 2012, Campbell set a new world record in the men’s discus F44/22 at the UCO Endeavor Games in Edmond, Oklahoma, the same place he was introduced to amputee athletics in 2004. During the competition Jeremy actually broke the world-record twice – the first with a throw of 62.3m, and the second with a throw of 63.45m. Jeremy had previously set the world record less than a month ago at the BT Paralympic World Cup in England.

In addition to athletics, Campbell enjoys longboarding, the beach and playing video games.
